Hey, me again!

Your wedding photographer spends a significant amount of time with you so you need to make sure I fit your vibe!

I'm very much a social butterfly & I love interacting with people.

On your wedding day, I’ll be there for the grand moments, of course — but you’ll also find me quietly observing the in-between ones. The moments you may not even realise are happening, but that you’ll treasure most when you look back.

I believe your wedding photographs should feel as beautiful as the day itself — emotionally honest, effortlessly elegant and filled with light. My approach is rooted in documentary storytelling, capturing the moments as they naturally unfold, with an editorial eye for composition, detail and atmosphere.

How I became a Photographer

If I’m being honest, becoming a photographer was never something I thought about doing — until I had my daughter. That was when everything shifted, and photography suddenly became more than just something I loved… it became the career I wanted to build.

Back in my younger, party-loving days, I was always the one with a little digital camera on nights out. I’d photograph the entire evening, then wake up the next morning with 400+ photos to sort through and upload to Facebook. I’ve tried to find a photo of me with that camera, but there isn’t a single one where I look sober enough to share — so we’ll leave that there! 😂

I’ve always documented everything. I wanted to be able to look back and relive moments, exactly as they were. Looking back now, you could say I was destined to be a photographer — I just didn’t know it yet.

I had my little girl, and that changed everything. I remember saying to my husband, “I think I want to start my own business and become a photographer.” And just like that, the rest was history & I created Terri Smith Photography!

I am now in my 4th year of having my own business & it was the best decision I ever made.

It's never too late to create the life you dreamed of! x
